INGREDIENTS
1 ½ CUPS CHOPPED MANGO (FRESH OR FROZEN)
1 CUP PLAIN YOGURT
½ CUP MILK
3 TBSP MAPLE SYRUP
¼ TSP DRIED CARDAMON
PINCH OF SAFFRON (IF YOU HAVE IT!)
HANDFUL OF ICE CUBES
GARNISH WITH: CARDAMON POWDER, CRUSHED PISTACHIO NUTS, SOME STRANDS OF SAFFRON OR A MINT LEAF.
UTENSILS:
ELECTRIC BLENDER, DRINKING GLASS OR MASON JAR, KNIFE, MEASURING CUP & SPOONS, REUSABLE STRAW.
METHOD:
MIX THE INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER, STARTING WITH THE LIQUIDS.
AFTER ABOUT ONE MINUTE, WHEN THERE ARE NO MORE LUMPS, POUR INTO GLASSES.
ADD MORE SYRUP IF YOU PREFER SWEET, AND THE TOPPINGS OF YOUR CHOICE.
USE A BIG BAMBOO/REUSABLE STRAW!
RECIPE ALTERNATIVE: EXCLUDE THE MILK AND PUT IN THE FREEZER AND YOU HAVE YOURSELF A MANGO, FRO-YO!
