INGREDIENTS:
¾ CUP FULL FAT MILK
¼ CUP OF THICKENED CREAM
2 TSP COCOA POWDER
1-2 TSP SUGAR
1 TSP CORNFLOUR (FOR REALLY THICK HOT CHOC!)
PINCH OF SALT
TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL):
-TSP OF WHIPPED CREAM
-A SPRINKLE OF GROUND CINNAMON
-MINI MARSHMALLOWS
*ADJUST QUANTITIES ACCORDING TO HOW THICK AND SWEET YOU LIKE YOUR CHOCOLATE DRINK
UTENSILS:
MUG (MICROWAVE PROOF), TEASPOON, MINI WHISK (OR SPOON) SMALL SAUCEPAN (IF HEATING MILK ON A STOVE)
METHOD:
MIX ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS, EXCEPT THE CREAM, INTO A CUP (IF HEATING WITH A MICROWAVE) OR SMALL SAUCEPAN (IF HEATING ON A STOVE).
HEAT THE COCOA MIXTURE UNTIL IT’S HOT BUT NOT BOILING, WHISKING OR STIRING REGULARLY, SO THAT THE COCOA LUMPS AND CRUNCHY SUGAR DISSOLVES.
ADD THE CREAM TO THE MIX AND STIR AGAIN.
POUR INTO A MUG AND ADD THE TOPPINGS OF YOUR CHOICE. YUM!
